Tuesday, October 28, 2003 Rich Baran (plastically) died in a car accident while on his way to work. Rich was turning left at an intersection and was struck by a large truck, coming from the cross street. The truck hit the driver side door and Rich was killed instantly from the impact in his chest.

Rich's death has left a large hole in his family and friends hearts. He will be missed, but his site will continue to live, keeping the games he loved to create available for people to play.
